SRT safety rolling gates
SRT rolling gates consist of a very sturdy steel frame, in which a roll casing run supported in linear guides and are mechanically activated. The roll casing is based on blades made of an extruded aluminum sheath, and, by request, can also be equipped with transparent film elements.
On the steel frame of the winding SRT types, there is a ball-supported sleeve roller which accommodates the casing when opening the door.
A standard three-phase current worm gear motor with flange mounted safety clutch, a ball-supported drive shaft, a primary chain between the safety clutch and the drive shaft and a left and right closed drive chain between the drive shaft and the roll casing make up the door's drive mechanism.
The roll casing has a pinafore with a mechanical wedge on its closing rim, where such a wedge is lined with a rubber hollow section. The wedge is brought about in any arbitrary position on its guide shafts when operating a wedge of the pinafore.
Two counterweights in rolling gates that wind vertically cause a deliberately oversized counterweight that hinders a fixed casing on the drop by means of its own weight and produces the winding torque on the sleeve roller during the opening sequence.
To activate the appropriate safety control, all rolling gates have standar equipment that includes 4 roll limit switches as per DIN EN 50041, which signal the following door positions:

Because of their sturdy construction, SRT rolling gates comply with the requirements of a strict industrial firm as well as the requirements of the automotive industry.
Linear guides, counterweights, drive elements and end switches are easily accessible via easy-to-open casings, and, in the closed position, they are well protected from contamination and contact.
