Because of their safety and technical equipment, SRG shielding windows and SRT rolling gates close with a restricted driving power and are quipped with a mechanical brake system, so that people in the area of intervention during the closing process are exposed to only a maximum admissible contact force. 
Production processes that automatically take place may be enabled by the equipment control only when the shielding window is in the closed position. The SRG shielding windows have a mechanical locking device in the closed position, so that production process that is started cannot be interrupted by manually suspending the shielding window. The mechanical locking device opens automatically by mechanically opening the shielding window.  Using an optional device to prevent stepping behind, accessible spaces behind the shielding window are also monitored. SRG safety shielding windows and SRT safety rolling gates are available in various types and in a variety of sizes, so that the choice of suitable equipment conforms to the respective case of operation and to geometric possibilities.
