Inductive admission sensors of the IRD series are produced using rectangular hatches. This allows for a favorable assembly to machines.
The sensors respond to all metals. The response can be adjusted on a potentiometer, on the switching amplifier. It is independent of contamination caused by lubricants and dust. The signal display occurs via a built-in light-emitting diode. Sturdy light metal construction ensures mechanical stability. In the case of static sensors, built-in temperature compensation connections only result in a slight temperature deviation and, for dynamic sensors there is no temperature deviation, insofar as admissible ambient temperature values must be complied with.
The high-frequency electromagnetic scatter fields, apart from the hatch, are extremely weak, usiong special protection and constructive measures.

There are protective sleeves available for all admission sensors. They are made of wear-resistant plastic with a capture hopper, and they especially protect the interior cheeks of admission sensors from damage, using sharp-edged punching.
